The Financial Foundations team capitalizes on each individuals' unique ability.

Financial Foundations comprises a team of unique, dedicated professionals whose goals, individually and as a group, are to provide you with a wide range of services,

including financial and estate planning, strategic retirement planning, asset management, wealth accumulation, and wealth protection.

Nicholas S. Cosentino, CFP®

CEO, President

Nick is the CEO, president, and founder of Financial Foundations, Inc., an independent investment and financial services firm. He has many years of experience in the financial services industry; is a 20-year participant in the Strategic Coach Mentor program, a Toronto-based mentor program for successful independent entrepreneurs; and serves as one of the wealth advisors for the firm. Nick has focused on providing sophisticated wealth planning and investment management strategies to affluent families, executives, and small business owners. His goal is to use his broad experience to help his clients maintain their lifestyles throughout their retirement years and pass this success onto the next generation.

Nick has a unique ability to inspire his team and recognize accomplishments that need to be made on a corporate, personal, and client-related level. His ability to push the people in his circle to grow, learn, and prosper has made him a successful wealth adviser and a motivating mentor.

Earning a BS degree in finance from Bentley University, Nick then went on to obtain his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER practitioner designation from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, Nick maintains his FINRA Series 7, 24, 51, and 63 securities registrations, which are held through Commonwealth Financial Network®. He began his career in the financial services industry specializing in asset management, income tax and cash flow planning, estate planning, and insurance planning. He founded Financial Foundations in the summer of 2001. It is at Financial Foundations that Nick created the unique process he named The Personal Foundation Builder.®

Nick is involved in various philanthropic work, has served on the Board of Delegates for Easter Seals, is a long-time supporter of Children International, is an active member of City on a Hill Board of Trustees, and regularly supports organizations, ncluding Birthday Wishes and various local community events.

Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, Dorothy, and their three children, Alex, Faith and Delaney. The Cosentino family resides in Southborough, Massachusetts, just three miles from the office. They love to bbq and swim in their backyard escape, and travel to warm destinations. Outside of Nick’s men’s golf league, Nick enjoys cooking, grilling, architectural design,and personal fitness.

Recent Honors
Celebrating his 25th year with Commonwealth Financial Network®, a leading broker/dealer for independent financial advisors nationwide, Nick has qualified for Commonwealth’s prestigious Leaders Conference and Chairman’s Retreat every consecutive year since their inception. Bryan Amandolare, CFP®, CRPC®

Vice President, Wealth Advisor

As vice president, wealth advisor Bryan is committed to performing diligent research, immersing himself in the details, and creating long-term relationships based on transparency and trust. Bryan joined Financial Foundations as a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® in May 2004. Bryan's integrated approach to wealth management offers a comprehensive array of financial services. When needed, Bryan works in tandem with your attorneys, accountants, and any of your other advisors to ensure that the suggestions you are given align with all of your goals.

Bryan earned a BA from Quinnipiac University in 1999, where he received an athletic scholarship to play Division I men's lacrosse. Upon receiving his degree, Bryan joined the financial services industry and has embraced his profession. After years of trading and with a passion for the markets, Bryan developed a strong desire to shift from working with advisors to becoming one. His prior experience has been paramount to his success in developing and implementing actively managed solutions to complement the values and milestones of each client.

In accordance with FINRA regulations, Bryan has earned his FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®, in addition to his producer life insurance license. Bryan has demonstrated his dedication to the industry by obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional certification. In addition, he has attained the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM professional designation through the College for Financial Planning.

Bryan has the support of his beautiful wife, Kristine, whom he met while they were both enrolled at Quinnipiac. They have two children, Anthony Joseph (AJ), born in 2006, and Alexa Leigh, born in 2008. In his free time, Bryan enjoys working out, coaching lacrosse and basketball, and being a dad.

Jason Reesey, CFP®, CRPS®, AIF®, CLTC, QKA

Vice President, Wealth Advisor

Jason has over a decade of experience as a financial advisor and leader at Financial Foundations and more than 15 years in the financial services industry. He has extensive experience in managing corporate 401(k) plans and providing sophisticated wealth planning and investment strategies to affluent families, executives, and small institutions. Solutions include investment selection, retirement planning, estate planning, business planning, college planning, taxation planning, and risk management. His experience in these areas leaves him well qualified to make suggestions, identify needs, and assess solutions quickly and with confidence.

Jason earned a BS from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he majored in managerial economics. He began his career in the financial services industry at Commonwealth Financial Network®, where Jason was the bicoastal director of retirements. He believes this experience laid the ideal foundation for his work today.

In accordance with FINRA regulations, Jason has obtained his FINRA Series 7, 24, 53, 55, and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network in addition to his producer life, accident, and health insurance licenses. During his career, he has earned the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC), American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries Qualified 401(k) Administrator, and College for Financial Planning Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM professional certifications. He capped off his education when he obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification. In 2008, Jason was published in InvestmentNews magazine as a featured financial advisor on the topic of up-and-coming advisors in a volatile industry.

Jason married his beautiful wife, Kerri, shortly after his arrival at Financial Foundations and is the father of three boys. Away from the business, he can be found on the sidelines coaching one of his sons, working on automobiles, or enjoying the great outdoors.

Christina Mitkonis, CFP®, MSFP

Financial Advisor

Christina’s career as a financial advisor is based on a strong foundation of family and community values. Her passion for helping others, along with her determination, charismatic personality, and analytical nature, empowers her to work with clients who are at a pivotal financial point in their lives. Whether on the brink of retirement, changing jobs, buying a home, or gaining an inheritance, Christina offers her clients tactical solutions and long-term financial strategies that ultimately help them reach their individual goals.

Christina graduated cum laude from Bentley University, earning a BS in managerial economics with a focus in international business and a second degree in liberal studies concentrating in global perspectives. She double-minored in law and information design/corporate communication. In 2012, Christina completed her MS in financial planning at Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business.

Christina is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. In accordance with FINRA regulations, in addition to the CFP®, she has obtained her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and producer life, accident, and health insurance licenses through Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Being raised by an entrepreneurial family, she learned that hard work is paramount to success at a young age. At 12, she began helping her parents with the family businesses and continues to be a key component to their overall success. Christina is actively involved in the Greek community and currently sits on the Association of Greek American Professional Women (AGAPW) and Hellenic American Women’s Counsel (HAWC).

Outside the office, Christina enjoys traveling and exploring new places and returning to Greece to see family.

Michelle Morrissey

Chief Operating Officer

Michelle's passion for helping clients and her attention to detail enables her to excel within corporate processes and in the heavily regulated financial services industry.

With over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry at Financial Foundations, Michelle’s role is an integral part of the success of the firm. As the chief operating officer, Michelle oversees the backstage operations at Financial Foundations, including all legal and compliance, trading, human resources, technology, the processing of all new business, quarterly reporting, financial plan creation, and licensing.

Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Rhode Island. Upon graduation, Michelle began working at Financial Foundations and quickly mastered the ins and outs of creating and streamlining operational process that have contributed to the overall accomplishments and growth of the firm.

In accordance with FINRA regulations, Michelle obtained her Series 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations which are held through Commonwealth Financial Network®.

Michelle and her husband, Dennis, have three daughters: twins Sidney and Sophia and their little sister, Abby. Outside the office, Michelle can be found spending time with her family, watching her daughters learn pirouettes during dance class, or cheering on her favorite sports team, the Boston Red Sox.

Donald Cullen

Tax Services Manager

Don is in the firm's tax department as the tax services manager. He has more than 20 years of experience providing tax-related services for individuals, small businesses, and estates. Don holds a BBA in accounting from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.

Don is an Enrolled Agent (EA) and is licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, as well as an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents, and New Jersey Society of Enrolled Agents.

Throughout the years, Don’s tax experience has grown with the challenges and unique circumstances of each new client. Don’s primary objective is focused on his client’s particular financial and tax situations. He realizes that relationships are important, as is trust. In turn, Don does immense amounts of continuing education each year, as required by the IRS for enrolled agents and for his clients so they can always depend on him.

Tax services are separate and unrelated to Commonwealth.

Sherri Taylor

Director of Communications

Sherri is passionate about creating lasting impressions on people’s lives. This is evident in her work designing events and marketing collateral. Sherri has a unique ability to take in the big picture, as well as the small important details, that help form long-lasting memories.

As director of communications, Sherri is able to maximize her vast experience working with financial advisor offices, marketing, and event planning. Her responsibilities focus on planning, developing, and implementing marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities. 

Sherri joined Financial Foundations in June 2015. Prior to joining our team, she spent 15 years at Commonwealth Financial Network® in practice management, overseeing field outreach programs, and planning conferences as a member of the Conferences and Events team. This was preceded by five years in sales and marketing for hotels. Sherri has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in hospitality and tourism management.

Sherri resides in Shrewsbury with her husband, David, and her two children: Jacob and Emma. In her free time, Sherri can be found cheering on her children at various football, hockey, and soccer games. She also enjoys traveling with her family, relaxing with a good book, or playing with her two golden retrievers.

David Anderson, AIF®

Associate Advisor

David works closely with Bryan Amandolare and Jason Reesey, both vice presidents and wealth advisors at Financial Foundations. David assists with the development and implementation of clients’ financial plans and is a main point of contact for clients.

David joined Financial Foundations in 2015 as an associate advisor and registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. Prior to joining Financial Foundations, David worked as a financial assistant at another Commonwealth office, where he gained valuable experience in the financial services industry.

In accordance with FINRA regulation, David has earned his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network in addition to his producer life insurance license. David has also obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.

David graduated from the College of the Holy Cross where he majored in economics with a concentration in environmental studies. While at Holy Cross, he rowed on the varsity crew team and coached the St. John’s High School junior varsity crew team. David grew up in Webster, Massachusetts, enjoys traveling, and is an avid car enthusiast.

Karyn Kingswood

Executive Assistant

Karyn has a dynamic and approachable personality, enabling her to interact with our clients in an empathetic and compassionate way, while making sure their concerns are addressed.

Karyn was educated and grew up in England, a graduate from Bristol Polytechnic with a BA (Honours) in town and country planning. As a town planner, Karyn acquired a background in customer service and investment planning, which she was able to maximize in the United States in financial services.

Prior to joining Financial Foundations in February 2016, Karyn worked at Boston Partners Financial Group in Andover, MA, as an executive assistant for nearly eight years. She supported financial advisors in all aspects of financial planning with an emphasis on client satisfaction.

Karyn has a son in England who is a policeman and twin girls living in the United States. In her spare time, Karyn enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends in England, hiking and watching Liverpool Football Club.

Ani Mikitarian

Communications Specialist

Ani’s unique ability is her creative mindset and positive attitude.

As a communications specialist, Ani's role revolves around creating a first-rate client experience. From planning memorable events and designing unique marketing collateral, to implementing corporate communications, social media, and web design strategies, Ani works to provide clients with a level of service that goes beyond the average financial services firm.

Prior to joining the Financial Foundations team in March 2016, Ani held marketing internships at the Hanover Insurance Group and Tyco Security Products in Worcester and Westford, Massachusetts, respectively. These positions gave her valuable insight into successful marketing practices, which she has brought with her to this role. Ani graduated cum laude from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, with a BS in marketing and a minor in Spanish.

Ani was born and raised in central Massachusetts and resides in Boylston. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and photography.

Emily Levine

Associate Advisor

Emily’s passion for creating a positive experience for each client is infectious. She excels at building relationships and understands the unique needs associated with each client. Emily graduated from Florida State University with a BS, double-majoring in business management and human resources.

In May 2016, Emily joined Financial Foundations as an associate advisor and registered staff member of Commonwealth Financial Network®. Prior to joining Financial Foundations, Emily spent seven years at Eaton Vance, where she worked on large client relationships, including retirement plans and high-net-worth accounts. Earlier in her career, Emily held client service and marketing positions at State Street Global Advisors and BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In accordance with FINRA regulations, Emily has earned FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network.

Emily resides in Hopkinton with her husband, Evan, and her two children, Julia and Drew. Outside the office, Emily enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and traveling to warm destinations.

Kelly Allington

Administrative Assistant

Kelly is an enthusiastic, result-driven individual with the ability to multitask. As an administrative assistant, she makes our clients’ needs her top priority by delivering personalized, focused service.

Prior to Financial Foundations, Kelly was with EMC Corporation for almost 10 years. During her tenure, she worked in Field Marketing and Channel Sales, as well as in the Professional Services organization as a senior program manager delivering sales, operations support, quarterly forecasting, and executive level marketing programs. Prior to EMC Corporation, she was with CSC Consulting for 10 years working as an office manager providing operations, recruiting, and field marketing for its National Consulting Practice.

Kelly and her husband, Steve, have two children, Matthew and Kaitlyn, and live in the Metrowest area. They enjoy cheering their kids on while they run cross country, play lacrosse, and perform drama and dance. In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, hiking, and creating memories to last a lifetime. Kelly is also an avid Patriots fan.
